The first step is to cut down the tree. This can be done in one of two ways: with a chainsaw or with an ax. The chainsaw method is faster, but it also creates more noise and pollution than using an ax. Once the tree is felled, it must be trimmed so that it fits properly in its stand. Next, the branches are tied together with twine so they don’t fall out of place while being shipped or transported from place to place. Finally, each branch gets wrapped in colored lights before being attached to its own power source inside the trunk of the tree itself.

To create a pre-lit Christmas tree, start with a real tree or an artificial one that has been shaped into the desired shape. Then you’ll need to drill holes into the trunk for mounting lights. Once your holes are drilled, attach the wires from your lights through them using zip ties or wire nuts.
