“The Christmas Tree Man”
Many of you won't know about the overage or glut of Christmas trees we growers here in the Pacific North West had to endure for the last 9 years.
Let me explain. Basically what that meant for us growers is that there were too many Christmas trees available for harvest, and for sale, and not enough buyers or customers. Sad to say, many Christmas tree farms went out of business.
That issue is now over. Now there is a shortage of Christmas trees, as many growers did not plant trees. It takes 6 to 7 years on average to grow a quality Christmas tree. One foot per year on average.
There is shortage of trees this year!
Why am I telling you this? Well many growers are all ready sold out!
The good news is that because of this harsh reality, it will be a great year for those selling Christmas trees, as many retailers will not be able to buy trees. Lots of folks just don't know this reality.
So come up to Oregon and visit. It's not that far. I can show you around, and answer any questions you may have during the farm tour.
I'll keep you updated as to what's going on as I hear it.
All that being said, We would like to wish you and yours a safe and prosperous season, and a Very Merry Christmas.
All the very best to you and yours,
"The Christmas Tree Man"
